Photo Albums
This is where we'll post the majority of the photos we'd like to share with everyone.   You'll see some of the places we've visited, special events and milestones, and wonderful times shared with family and friends...

To see the full photo album, click on the title of each album, like "Makayla's Birth" (below).  This will open up another web page and allow you to scroll through all the pictures in each collection.  Enjoy!

Makayla - 8-9 Months
Rolling around and starting to crawl, she's figuring out how to get places!  She loves playing with other babies - especially the one in the mirror :)
Makayla - 6-7 Months
Makayla continues to do well in daycare, and is having a fun time tasting new foods now that she's on solids.  She can also sit up unsupported, and enjoys seeing the world through this new vantage point.  She's a very busy baby!
Makayla's Fifth Month
This month, Linh went back to work, which meant that Makayla started in daycare!  She's been doing great, and adapted quickly to her new environment and teachers.  They often comment on what a content and easy-going baby she is, and she loves to play with them - and is fascinated by the other babies!
Makayla's Fourth Month / Christmas (December, 2007)
Month four was a lot of fun, especially Christmas!  Everyone enjoyed playing with the baby, and were rewarded with lots of smiles.  She's starting to laugh now, too.
Makayla's Third Month & Halloween
This month has been all about discovery...Makayla now holds her head up really well, wants to sit on her own like a big girl, and has discovered that her hands and feet are absolutely fascinating to gaze at.  As you can see, she was a pumpkin for Halloween!
Makayla's Second Month & San Diego Visit (October, 2007)
Things really got rockin' and rollin' this month, as Makayla's world started to pop open in front of her.  She's become much more alert, tracks objects, and spends a good 30-45 minutes talking and smiling at the bears in her mobile in the morning!  We took a trip to San Diego to visit the Tanber clan, and also got to meet Andrew, Makayla's cousin.
Makayla's First Month (September, 2007)
Whew!  What a month!  Once we brought her home from the hospital, the fun (ok, it was also tiring, frustrating, exciting...) began.  Grandma Nguyen stayed with us for 2 weeks to help take care of the new baby, and to help Mom recover from her surgery as well.  We got to know our little girl, and learn how to be good parents.  Sleep?  What's that?!?
Makayla's Birth (August 17, 2007)
We welcomed Makayla into the world on August 17th, where she arrived via planned c-section.  The birth went smoothly, and Mom, Dad, and baby stayed in the hospital for about 3.5 days.  Makayla had lots of visitors to welcome her into the world.  What a wonderful way to start her life!
Baby Shower (July, 2007)
Friends and family gathered to celebrate our upcoming arrival, and it was a wonderful day!  Now all we need is for that baby girl to arrive...

Napa Valley Wine Train (May, 2006)
On a windy evening in May, we had a fabulous time on the Napa Valley Wine Train.  I can't believe we've lived in California for so long and have never done this!  You'll enjoy truly tranquil and breath-taking scenery as the train winds up and down the Napa Valley, excellent cuisine, and a unique experience riding on the train.

Wine-tasting in Napa Valley (January, 2006)
What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday in January!  Although the weather was a bit cold and rainy, it was wonderful to tour the Napa region without the usual summer crowds and fanfare.  We primarily toured the Beringer and Coppola wineries, but will definitely be back to tour the other hundreds of wineries in this region.

Christmas, 2005
Yes, we actually tortured the dog and made him put on a Santa suit! He didn't seem to mind too much - and may have actually enjoyed it.  Lots of pictures here on how we spent our Christmas.  The only folks missing were Gay and Terry (and Tara), who had to cancel their trip to Roseville because Terry got struck with the flu...achoo!
Israel (December 2005) Coming soon
Todd got the opportunity to travel to the Holy Land and experience local sites, sounds, foods, and holy landmarks.  He had a fantastic time with his co-workers and friends, and looks forward to returning to this country to tour areas he missed.
Kauai, Hawaii (October 2005)
This was a wonderful trip to what is now our favorite Hawaiian island.  What can we say...the island's green, tropical setting provided for a mystical, captivating, and relaxing getaway.  The helicopter ride and waterfall landing was fantastic, the local cuisine delicious, and the sights - breathtaking.  Aloha!

Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale - Florida (March 2005)
On this trip, we visited family, toured local sites, and spent a day at Disney's Animal Kingdom!  We stayed in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where you could view exotic animals like zebras, giraffes, and elands from the comfort and privacy of your own balcony!  It was a wonderful trip...
Paradise Island, Nassau - Bahamas (May 2003)
This island vacation was our first visit to the Bahamas, where we stayed at a Club Med in Paradise Island.  On this trip, we took an excursion to a private island, and got to hand-feed and pet a sting ray that came to us from the ocean!  We also enjoyed shopping at Nassau, and saw our fair share of sea-life during our snorkeling adventures.
Edinburgh, London, Paris - Europe (October 2003)
This trip began with a couple days in Scotland, where we toured the majestic Edinburgh castle.  We then spent a week in London, checking out Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and of course - Big Ben.  We also went on a quick day-trip to Paris via train, where we toured the Louvre and snapped photos of the Eiffel Tower.
Bora Bora, Tahiti - French Polynesia (September 2001)
We spent our honeymoon on the magnificent island of Bora Bora, which is one of the Tahitian islands in French Polynesia.  We've visited several tropical locales, including Florida, the Bahamas, and Hawaii (Maui and Oahu), and still believe that the waters are their bluest and most beautiful in this lovely group of islands.
Our Wedding - Granite Bay, California (September 8, 2001)
Check out our photos and re-live the various events of our wedding day, starting with the Vietnamese ceremony, to the wedding ceremony...and culminating with the reception.  It was a truly glorious day...love was definitely in the air!
